Randy Hunt, Vegan “LOVE” Shirt

Robert Indiana’s LOVE typography catapulted itself out of Love Park and traversed beyond the Philadelphia city limits to nest itself in sweethearts up and down the eastern seaboard. When asked on an interview why he was vegan, Andy Stepanian, founder of the Sparrow Project answered, “I’m vegan because I love life too much not to be.” This line was so well received that he reached out to his friend, internationally recognized designer Randy Hunt of Citizen Scholar with a design concept that would communicate that veganism and love are synonymous. Randy designed the type to honor Robert Indiana’s legacy while still clearly communicating the word vegan. Half of the proceeds raised from the sale of this shirt go to a place that they both hold dear to their hearts, The Farm Animal Sanctuary.
